Indigo & Block Printed Flour Sack Tea Towel Set, Tribe & Cliff

When two makers get together for a creative collaboration, beauty is the result. Natural dyes and thirsty cotton flour sack towels were made as a coproduction between Anneliesse of Spoon and Hook and Morgan of Bomisch in Asheville, NC.

The fun began with Anneliesse hand carving pieces of wood into stamps that were used to create the design on the block printed towel, and the other towel is dipped dyed using natural indigo. The indigo dyed towel resembles the Appalachian mountains in which the towels were made. Towels are a unique set of two.
